I really need to sit down and properly read what I'm replying to... yes, you're right about end of quarter sort of activity... it is always an interesting time
As for what I think about warrants... I use them mainly around dividend dates so I had quite a few in play on IGO and MIN, yesterday I sold out of the last of those positions. Personally I use options for leverage and instalment minis for yield. I only look at magnified exposure on underlying securities that I am comfortable to take delivery of if it goes south.
