Do you know how the closing share price auction works? The "number of shares" at buys and sells at different prices end up equaling each other at "a price level" - the closing price. If you really want to buy you put in a high price - if you really want to sell you put in a low price. The 1741502 would have been sold at the closing price of $3.67.
