PLS chart, page-20582

Hi Folks

Obviously I like my charts. Sometimes the charting tools don't quite suite my purpose, so I produce hand drawn charts. Why?

The last 5 months PLS share price looks out of kilter with the results on the table so I thought I would take a good look.

My rough chart looks quarter by quarter at the factual $AU shipped revenue from Mar 2021 to Dec 2023, Against this I show Hi-Lo bars achieved for each quarter.

Things to notice on the chart.

For the boom period Mar 2021 to the peak in Dec 2022 the SP movement roughly matches the $AU revenue. There was one exception, June 2022 ( bar green crosshatched) fell behind the growing revenue. But caught up in the following quarter.

The decline in $AU revenue started in the Mar 2023 quarter and the SP bars roughly tracked this for two quarters

Then in the Sep 2023 something very odd happened that didn't make any sense. While the revenue dropped from $844m to $AU493m the SP bar gained strongly. This set up a large gap between revenue and SP

Then in Dec 2023 revenue again drops strongly from $AU493 to $AU264. The SP drops but doesn't catch up with revenue as there is still a large gap.

So I have the still unfinished Mar 2024 HI-Lo share price bar (orange) in place. Notice that the current Mar 2024 HI-Lo bar sits in the middle of the Dec 2023 bar. Very strange?

Interesting to look at the chart historically comparing the current Mar 2023 SP bar with the Mar 2022 SP and the $AU revenue for each quarter.

In my previous post I showed the SP performance of the major Lith players is tanking and the LIT eft is at a 3 1/2 year low.

Make use of the chart as you like. I just thought I would show the historical facts rather than conjecture about the future of the sector. So DYOR
