You can easily earn money with Amazon's Mechanical Turk doing tasks that require "human intelligence" . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_Mechanical_Turk
It is based on the 18th century original Mechanical Turk, a fake chess playing automaton, which was really operated by a midget hidden inside a box - who could play a good game of chess. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mechanical_Turk
Amazon figured out a way to make money out of this - so it must mean there are still a lot of tasks that are better done by humans. These tasks are called HITs (human intelligence tasks).
Maybe Amazon can try to pit its HITs to beat the HFTs?
