This is true, but you would also think that if the value of a short trade is diminishing that you would also expect to see some reductions in daily shorts. Unless the people opening new shorts are lambs to the wolves.
Pretty confusing as I had expected to see some sign of aggregate shorts dropping by now (as they have on SYA and CXO). Interestingly they’re still increasing at LTR.
