Patterns are apparent only because our mind diffrentiates and selects. The predictive merit is a value judgement based on inductive reasoning "in which broad generalizations or principles are derived from a body of observations". That is why the outcome (of the prediction) is not guaranteed.

That is cool. I am sure you mean my reading or interpretation of the chart that has encouraged you not to be pessimistic.
The result today seems to confirm my optimism:
A bullish engulfing candle with very high volume breaking the $4 line. The EMA lines are also aligning for an uptrend. It looks very solid to me.
