Good chart, I follow the 8 ema but the 9 is pretty much the same. If you look at the 5 year chart on the weekly interval you will see that PLS is in long term uptrend, and since around the 8th November 2020 it closed at around 46cents, just under 3.5 year later 7/04/2024 it closed at $4.02. You can draw a smooth upward trend line from the originating date till now, it touches enough of the lows I think on the way up to qualify it as a valid trend line

For every $1000 invested back 8/11/2020 it has multiplied in round figures 8.74 times that means your $1000 is now worth $8740, plus the payment of 2 dividends.

in the short term since the 13/8/2023 it has been trending down, for all the reasons other posters have talked about plus( and mainly because) they have cut out the divis for this year, and would not have won any friends, but is an understandable move on management's part becaue of the spodumene price. At this point observe akgo01 chart and it tells you what to do next, particularly if you factor in all the downstream fundamentals that PLS intend to implement. It closed 3 times above the 9 ema and bounced off the trend line indicating it had bottomed out in last few days, and is hopefully on the rebound.

if it does pull back I think it will be short lived but when the price of lithium recovers to reasonable sustainable levels then PLS will do a Fortescue and accelerate to comparable share prices with the iron ore miner. Only my opinion of course, but a young person investing now in PLS and with divi's coming back next year( hopefully), that are reinvested would create the basis of a very high net worth portfolio in the years to come. I think PLS has been derisked enough now to indicate it will achieve a very high target SP in the near future. it is not going backwards.
