"The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient"

That is an old worn-out cliche that is now mentioned only by wannabes.

"Ladies and gentlemen, well may we say ‘God save the Queen’, because nothing will save ...."

Another old cliche.

"... that do not comply or accord with the tenants of logic and rational thought."

This is also based on a cliche. But here, as @KerrAvon has subtly pointed out, you unwittingly turned it into a case of tenants of logic getting evicted, which is hilarious!

But don't lose heart for being lack of originality. Dostoevsky has something nice to say about that:
