I disagree. I think as long as it is still profitable to mine, the operation should continue. If PLS stops mining and stops having an income, its sp will crash.
Oil is different. When oil price is low, OPEC + Russia (the oil producers) may agree to reduce their outputs. But there is no such agreement among Li producers. If PLS stops or just reduces its output, other producers will increase theirs to fill the reduction.
