Pointless in me posting spod prices as PLS sells it far lower.
PLS not making that much profit at the present time.
What is the cost price from Chinese and African mines ?
PLS stating that next year the cost price might be anything from $650US/T to $700US/T
then add royalities etc.. and its more like $850US/T for our cost price which means we lose money.
SPOD spot still falling for Li2O content 5.5% to 6.2% where PLS is 5.3% Li2O content so its probably even lower for PLS.
Markets are saying spod will be low for the next 2 years.Macquarie analysts believe supply of lithium will exceed demand over the next two years, driving spodumene prices down to an average of $US975 a tonne in 2025, before recovering to be $US1925 a tonne by 2028.21 June 2024
