If PLS PS bounce up now and pass through the ceiling (2.5), it is highly possible going to happen as you says. We missed one trampoline session yesterday. And, looks like we have another session today again as US has a good day. But, it is Friday. Normally AU market is nervous on Friday. More selling than buying. When see SP move like yesterday, no doubt big hands are playing game. They don't like PLS SP runs high. They want it remains in a range. After PLS SP hit 1.35 at early this year it remained in a range for 3 months. After hit 2.45 at early Aug, it remains in a range until today despite all good news. Let see what happens.
