Hi George. That being said, the shorters also shorted the crap out of the whole sector and we cannot tar them all with bad management. This shorting created stress in the whole sector with regards to funding and almost sent well managed companies to the wall also as our options dried up.

The only good side to come out of the shorting was the lack of investment in the sector which is now coming home to roost each time a BMX auction occurs. Still leaves a sour taste in my mouth when I think about how close PLS came to joining the AJM ranks. I like many here had a holding next door (small holding), luckily I had chosen PLS as the best of the bunch, in large part due to the quality of management.

Like most things involving humans, give them an inch and they’ll take a mile. Let humans loose with a tool like that and the scum will rise to the surface and use it.
