As someone already pointed out (apologies I don’t remember who?). Why continue to pay US$2000 + a ton for Spod, when you could buy the mine and produce it for less than US$500(‘ish) a ton yourself? Considering that supply is not likely to get any better soon and the likelihood of prices continuing to rise, a buyout from one af the behemoths is not such a nonsensical notion at all. Even at current market cap, double the price would still seem a bargain. Either way, I believe our future is bright if things continue to progress as they have (barring some cataclysmic world event of course).
