Before I post a most beautiful chart, some perspective.

On the 13th of August, the XJO (S&P ASX 200) closed at 7628.9. On Friday the 17th of December, it closed at 7304 which is -4.26% below its ATH close.

In this same timeframe, the PLS price has risen from 233 to 275 which is an 18.025% increase.

Patience and noise blocking earphones have certainly come in handy and IMO, will continue to do so.

    The AFR article https://www.copyright link/policy/tax-and-super/the-10-top-performing-super-funds-in-apra-s-performance-test-20211217-p59ie9
shows that Unisuper was the top superfund over a 7 year timeframe with a return of 12% pa from its Sustainable High Growth option. No doubt the passive investing Aussie Unisuper members would be overjoyed with this return.

My SMSF return for the last 7 year timeframe is 96.64% pa. Obviously PLS is a large reason for this and previous to my PLS entries, the fund was returning approx' 30% pa. Thanks go to my accountant who many years ago said "dfs1, I'm starting a SMSF for you". I would not be retired at 57 if this hadn't happened.

The point I'm making is we have to run our own race, not rely on others to decide your future and advise which direction you should take. It's true, I have some distain for the financial industry and the mainstream propaganda with regards to investing.

Now the weekly chart, it is beautiful. Nothing much to add and I certainly don't have a price target. I suspect I will continue to do nothing except watch world events.
