Many of PLS' offtake agreements come up for renewal in 2024, therefore we might see some interest from customers some time next year.
As dfs1 mentioned, if new customers want to compete with existing customers, they would need to be up and running with qualified product before end of next year, which is unlikely at this point, but have to say that would be a perfect environment in which to negotiate new offtake agreements.
Maybe the term of new contracts with existing customers is shorter than the past, say 2 years instead of 5, which would provide a bit of leverage, keep them on their toes and buy time for new conversion capacity comes online elsewhere, or use that spod to produce midstream salts, further diversifying both the product mix and customer base.
