Because uninformed Aussie retail punters are a fickle bunch and just cannot see beyond their noses. After this rout, they will suffer FOMO and pile in again, only to have the institutional traders rinse and repeat.
Meanwhile, most of us LT holders just sit by the river and watch the shenanigans unfold. Those ever closer future dividends will be a justified reward.
Remember, approx'$1 Billion cashflow this quarter.
