I take very little pride in reaching 2000 posts it merely shows that I am persistent. Any persistent attention seeking airhead can reach that mark by consistently posting four posts of dribble every day for under 2 years. They may fail to achieve their objective of seeking attention as they will soon appear of so many ignore lists.
I am reminded of the saying "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?". Does it translate to the saying "If a persistent poster posts dribble and no one reads it , does really exist."
I may have some on my ignore list that have reached 2000 posts. Do I care?. No
It's not about the number of posts but about the content.
