Actually looking at that chart you can see something else and that is the true direction behaviour of NMT. When NMT stopped climbing and fell away in a sense it was doing that direction thing over multiple days in that it was saying: "PLS might be going up now but it will come back down soon". So when we see NMT punching up we will be able to be confident the PLS will do the same sometime later. There is no real sense to the behaviour other than perhaps they share the same hedge fund traders ATM.
None of these patterns and correlations last forever and it likely that at some point they will cease to echo each other.
