I don’t think darkstone is foolish at all. If their “edge” or method works for them and they practice sound risk management it is far from gambling. Go and have a look at some of the results from things like the US investing championship- look at the methods or they use - charts, set-ups, risk management etc. Names like Minervini and Kell et al - some of these people sit out of the market for months at a time waiting for the right conditions that suit them. It’s not pseudoscience, voodoo or bullsh&t… if you’re just writing it off as a waste of time you’re only denying yourself knowledge that there is another way, and it’s not how it’s often spelt out or alleged by some of the degenerates on Hotcopper.
