I get your point, but find it hard to reconcile any Sp activity with high numbers of HFTrades across the day.
As we all know Bot algos are written and applied for the sole purpose of manipulation in favour of those who are privileged to utilise them! So, IMO these day to day anomalies contrary to expected performance is unfortunately something we retail investors have to suck up - and ponder if we will.
