Yes, I do both. No particular rule when I decide to use a pre planned price or drop on the roll over, but I tend to place some orders around my target price and then vary during the day. Probably more than 50% of the time my target ends up being the correct price and my varied price is too early, but it is frustrating when the target misses by 1c and you aren't watching that share (like yesterday - target 514 actual 513). Target on the next rise was 507 which it hit but I thought it would have another go at 514 after a retrace - darn again. Bottom was 495 which it actually hit - but I didn't think ii would so, triple darn. If I'd dropped 'em in on the rollover it would have been much better.
