I suspect that the only way that inflation will be controlled in the USA is via a recession, and I don't see Biden (Fed) letting that happen any time soon due to the upcoming elections.
I am going to call that they will raise rates once, and that will do enough damage for them to stop. QT might be another matter, and this is what could cause most damage.
Interesting times ahead.
