Algo trading reacts to news such as the CPI print and automatically makes the changes.
To be expected but I think it’s an overreaction.
PLS is like one of the bulk carriers that carry spodumene across the seas to China.
MV Pilbara will at times encounter rough seas on its journey but inevitably it will deliver its goods and get paid.
Batten down the hatches and weather ( pun intended ) the storm.
It will return with its holds full of cash and swell the coffers.
Rinse and repeat as PLS makes windfall cash, increases the value of shareholder holdings and enables people to sell shares when they want to, to realise their gains for whatever reason they have, irrespective of what anyone thinks, imo.
