Those who demean you because you use your median graph are, besides nasty, ignorant.

Graphs or charts are just record of share prices in the past. They don't say anything about the share prices in the future. They are just tools. Tools are useless to those who can't use them. They are only useful to those who know how to use them. Graphs or charts are useless to those who can't read them. But those who can read them may get some insight from reading them. The insight is not in the graphs or charts, but in someone's head. That is to say what matters is in the end how insightful the tool user is, and not the tool. But in share investment, being insightful is not enough. He or she must have the skills to buy and sell to make profit.

And that must be real profit. Profit on paper is just the dreamers' profit.

Quarterly and annual reports are also record of data in the past. The projection in the reports are made based on the data which are in the past. So essentially FA is not different from TA: both use data in the past to predict the future. But there are still many ignorant FA followers who dismiss TA as useless.
