I've though to do so often. The idea I might fail an audit and thereby forfeit 50% of my SMSF balance has me hesitant. The benefit of the fund doing all the accounting and also additional fees adds to hesitance, considering the ease of using self invest. But fair point, given the size of Super I ought to consider it more carefully.
