I dont think anyone' is 'holding it down...my data is 3 day delayed but since the 19th of last month, when MNE dropped at close of trade back to 1.4c again.....

Net negative volume of the first 2 non retail brokers is

UBS -3.1mil (5 sells no buys)

Virtual fund -1.06mil (5 sells no buys)

and comsec is net positive 6.18mil (45 buys and 17 sells) and Macuarie equity is net positive 1.98mil (with no sells and 8 buys, at 1.4c)

if I had to make a call based on all the data I can see I would say that pooply trading retailers are busy transfering shares at a net loss to currently stronger hands across this entire date range.
