Yes you are absolutely right and most of the population is ignorant to the meaning of “planned obsolescence”
Google this term and you will see why things are not made to last anymore, very interesting and very true!
An economics professor explained this to me a long time ago and planned obsolescence has been around since the invention of the light bulb!
