Hi Binwood, the shallow parts of the KDR resource are too low a grade to take the 100km or whatever it is to the POS plant. You can only take higher grade ore that type of distance, and to get to 1%+ grade on a continual basis, you are down at 60m plus at the shallowest.
IMO instead of making grand statements without the basis for them, they should plan what they are going to do first. The DSO part of the announcement has no basis at all, as DSO grades are 150m deep, so they wont be getting them unless they go underground. Again IMO it will be a great resource but needs plenty of work and planning to get to it as cheaply as possible. They have not worked out these aspects and just shooting from the hip with the statements they made this morning is poor management IMO.
They need to get some scoping studies on several options up and going straight away, as there is a lot of cost involved in every option.
There is actually no comparison between KDR and PLS as the differences are too great. KDR might be a very good investment one day, PLS is a great investment today!!
