I would say that is not a bad thing actually.
Based on my personal observation, the people who lost the most on stock market are the ones who made a lot money at the beginning. Then they became over-confident and put more money into the game, and remained over-confident even after they have lost a lot.
That is just human nature, very hard to avoid...
