PLS Price Prediction, page-46

I'll be buying some PLS for the first time today and possibly more tomorrow. Even if lithium prices halve from here then PLS will still make an enormous amount of money. At last count, BMX auction, the prices were around US$6000/t. March quarter unit costs below US$500/t.
Miners are aggressively moving contract prices higher to be closer to spot prices. AKE stated that their discussions with customers for the June quarter was around US$5000.
PLS current annual production around 380 000t moving to 580 000 in September quarter.
If PLS can shift contract pricing closer in line with AKE and possibly higher(closer to BMX auction prices), then the gross margin can be around US$4500/t.
US$4500/t x 580 000 = US$2 610 000 000. in AUD at 0.72 exchange = A$3 641 672 970, (Gross profit may approach this number depending on pricing achieved - perhaps a bit optimistic as businesses have a way to add additional expenses that you don't expect, so this is only to show the scale of profitability).
Market cap after today (shares $2.30) around $7bn = good value.
If anything EV sales are going to accelerate with current high fuel prices. More people will look to buy EV's. Even though petrol/diesel to be phased out in Europe by 2035 there will be few sales from 2030 onwards as nobody is going to want to be stuck with a vehicle with zero resale value for which you may struggle to find fuel(petrol stations will start to disappear as well as shift to EVs take hold).
Current lithium prices still trending higher. So don't see reason for sudden drop.
