PLS Short Squeeze

A short squeeze could come any day for PLS, but you won't hear that coming from the shorters, who are likely exiting as I write this. It is not really knowable when a squeeze will happen or what will trigger it. When it happened at VW in 2008 the share price quadrupled in less than 2 days and short funds reportedly lost over 30 Billion USD. GameStop reportedly cost over 10 billion to short holders. VW is a classic, when Porsche announced its ownership stake there were only 6% of shares available to trade and 13% were already sold short. Briefly VW became the world's most valuable company, but it was short lived and fell back to earth quickly. But it is worth noting that the price only fell after Porsche agreed to sell a 5% stake to funds which were short, abet for a hefty profit. At 20% we are in uncharted territory for short positions in PLS, but there may be no blocking holders like Porsche so when the short comes and I believe it will one of these days the shares will just leak out of many corners of the register until the shorts have covered. However this could take weeks and could easily drive the PLS price to new highs. Watch for it but don't hold your breath on how long the short will actually last.
