So here we are, 4 weeks on and they have piled on more short positions. Another 55M shares shorted.
I take this as a positive LT. This company and sector is attracting huge interest. IMO, there is a strategy in play by the BEOT. A SC price that still means huge profits for PLS, expansion plans that will take production to 1Mt by 2025, downstream coming online, a BOD the envy of many companies and a strong balance sheet, doesn't justify its position as the Top shorted company on the ASX. Really, they cannot think of the hundreds of basket case companies on the ASX that are in imminent danger of being insolvent and more deserving of the Top Shorted mantle.
Liquidity, PLS provides this. A strong retail base, huge turnover and an investment community that has no clue. Instant gratification syndrome is rampant and patience a lost trait.
You know what to do LT investors. Lock them up, shares that is.
