I must agree with Oz, regarding green mining. I am not trying to cross promote, but take a look at what Sandfire resources have done "down the road" at their Degrussa mine. It's worth a look on their website. They have built the largest integrated off-grid solar and battery storage facility in Australia. 10.6 Megawatts. Total cost of $40 Million. However, the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) is committing up to $15 million in finance towards the project and the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) is providing $20.9 million of funding with french renewable energy firm, Neoen, contributing most of the balance. I would have liked to see an Australian renewable company involved. But they quote that Sandfire’s cash contribution to the project will be less than $1 million.
