SQM got $100 loan from korea bank to develop Mt Holland lithium mine. SQM needs to supply $470 mil worth of lithium to korean battery makers for a period of 10 years.
Now seem like to secure supply, one has to either prepay, loan or equity investing in the miners/developers.
These factors say that supply will be tight and in deficit for years to come. Supply and demand will dictate price.
