Obviously Big Oil has a vested interest in impeding this technology and Trump has assisted them in many ways. Oil and Gas exports and jobs are a huge part of the US economy.

Certainly I think China is manipulating this market - but, as earlier stated, hopefully ( and ironically) the way through Trumps trade war may be to ramp up Battery/EV's. The added benefit for China will be less reliance on Oil, lowering demand and price as further retaliation against the US.

And yes, it seems you can post almost any negative sh!t on Lithium stocks atm with impunity.
