Do you really think Apache and Co can just go right on, spend billions on an LNG plant and extract the gas from this hole....
of course this was always going to be plugged and abandoned, almost ALL wildcat wells are P&A.
Tullow have thrown a lot of negativity over the well, perhaps to them it really is nothing, thats great, that means PCL can keep our extra 5%
Whether its Apache, or someone a bit smaller, another well will def be drilled on L8
perhaps we have a mini browse basin here, the only way to find out is more drilling and it will happen, PCL have their hands in MANY permits here, so they are best positioned to gain exposure IF there is a large gas system across the Kenyan seas, which already looks promising...the first drill being successful, I think you can almost bet your house that there will be more successful wells
