As with so many places in Oz you may have lots of these horrible things flying about. They have done more damage to our local bird species than anything else. Indian Myner...or noisy myna. Some councils have declared them as a pest.

Just went out to water. Few birds around. We haven't seen myners here. I dare say they were probably target practice.

Heaps of dragonflies and a few bees just now despite the hot wind.
