re: you bastards tls Burgess spoke up what everyone knew and no one said. Coonan provoked and got more than she bargained for, but the truth won't go away. Telstra is a political pawn and the shareholders are getting a poor result.
Analysts have been sucking up to the Government in the hope of getting a part in the new float so they won't say anything.
In the end it's always the small shareholder who gets caught. They rely on others and not their own opinion.
Many of Telstra's customers are dissatisfied with the service and the complicated unaccountable charges. No one in the community would be allowed to have such a one sided charging system. The customer has no check and no information. Just try to figure out how much your mobile bill is on any day.
Telstra should be broken up into manageable parts and made accountable to it's customers. The Government should stop using city prices to subsidise country services.
