I'll stick with my V8 Landcruiser thanks. I can't imagine trying to recharge a EV on Fraser Island. A electric car would be garbage the first time the car goes through some serious salt water. An electric car definitely wouldn't have the grunt to pull a loaded trailer in soft sand.
Electric vehicles might be OK for you latte sippers in the cities who only go to the supermarket to buy a few veges. An EV might be OK for the missus to go shopping, mine however prefers her Merc although she's currently itching to buy the latest Maserati.
