So let me get this right, because you are the PM you should stop being a volunteer.What a bizzare train of thought. If so then the CEO, MD, Regional Manager, Branch Manager, Supervisor, Leading Hand should also not volunteer for any community organisation be it St Johns Ambo, SES, Vol Firey. Considering this is pushed by those that prefer Labor/Green ideology it does not match with your " We are all equal" philosphy.
I dont know about you but I dont care if you are the PM or leading hand why should he be any different to the rest of us. He can be replaced if god forbid anything did happen. Rather I would have thought you wanted Malcolm anyway.
By the way how much vol work did Rudd or Gillard do?
