Our obsequience to the US has already put us on a slippery slope. These military bases will make that slope even more precipitous and calamitous.
Both "leaders" can waffle all they like prior to the elections. The proof of the pudding is already lucidly clear to all: They will both do as the US di ctates.
IMO, the sacking of Gough was a warning and an indication of this.
