    alan - turnbull is simply trying to be heard - trouble is, he is gambling somewhat with populism at a time when the electorate can see the global problems

    an example below of his double speak by virtue of claiming rudd hasn't addressed an aspect, yet given the opportunity, he doesn't want to address it himself

    his tactics won't pay off, imo

    MALCOLM TURNBULL: Well certainly not Kevin Rudd, no. He’s left them out. And again, that’s something he hasn’t explained.

    BARRIE CASSIDY: Would you include them? Would you include the unemployed?

    MALCOLM TURNBULL: Well Barrie, I think what we would do is look at the whole package together. It is difficult to justify the benefits going to all, to some recipients of Commonwealth benefits and not others. I’d like to see what the Government’s explanation for that is'
