Both sides of politics should never have allowed this bubble to happen at tax payers expense, ie first home owners grants, reduction of cgt by costello by half, 180k people coming into the country every year.
Agree scrap all the above and scrap neg gearing on existing properties
Housing is a need not a want, the money saved from the above could be put towards public housing etc.
They have created a bubble and know they wont be re-elected if house prices go down...idiots on both sides!!
