Intervention happens all the time and the Right do it too and can be very nasty. Would you hamstring one side by using public resources just so the other has less scrutiny and opposition?
It could be argued that the using of public resources to attack, hinder or harass GetUp for a percieved purely political gain is an act of embezzlement.
