I read this as "Gee those are nice golden eggs, it's such a big healthy goose that looks after itself and is truly competitive on the world stage, surely I can squeeze a few more eggs out of it to buy more votes"
I've never seen the mining industry demonised so much. I do grant the fact Gina, Twiggy and Clive dont do themselves any favours and milk every tax concession for R&D to fatten their own wallets. If the slowdown in China is actually happening we are in real trouble.
