Glad at least one of us caught a piece of the action. I did not take the entry on the smaller H&S
because of the lack of meaningful volume to accompany the break and then it decided to
gap up above the weekly neckline (on news if I recall correctly) and I was hoping for a tighter
entry.

Concur with your analysis. I usually expect some resistance around the measured target
levels (and would have taken some off the table at these levels, leaving some for a shot at
the larger target).
I certainly do not expect this to blow through the all-time highs too easily. My knowledge
of the finer details of Elliot Wave Theory is rusty at best and it has not been much of a factor
in my trading for a long-time, so I cannot really comment there.

I occasionally attempt to transition to long-term holds when I can justify it (technically and
fundamentally) but I have been more hesitant about that recently, escpecially on the high PE
ratio stocks, given the current macro environment - but I am no expert on that subject. I will
continue to take trade opportunities as they present themselves but I have been somewhat
more aggressive than usual with protecting gains.
