As for the short interest, it has risen steadily for near zero 12 months ago. The day before the German contract announcement, the short interest was 4.98%, two days later, on 16 Oct, it was 5.08%. The shorters must have tungsten carbide balls.
Unless the SI has dropped subsequently, collectively, the shorters are down $26m since 15 Oct. Maybe they are betting that the SP will come back to fill in the gap between $29 and $30. I hope that they are deluded in that ambition.
My shy hope is that PME will become the Microsoft of medical image handling.. The following is from the annual report. "Seven of the top twenty hospitalsin the U.S... now use the company’s leading-edge Visage7 technology."
PME need to translate this foot in the door into domination of the wider market. The hope is that PME can capture the hearts and minds of nascent radiologists while they are at the teaching hospitals, form where they will spread far and wide.. the network effect. . Cheers
