Perhaps I am looking in the wrong place but there is an absence of recent comments on HC about PMGOLD. My broker trades them as warrants but they can be negotiated like shares on the ASX without any expiry date and can be "redeemed" for physical gold at the Perth Mint , if that is what you want.
I began buying these last year but still consider myself a novice in instruments like this. I have compared ETFs but PMGOLD only requires an annual fee of 1 "instrument" when the holding is under 1334 and an additional "instrument" for every 667 after that. That is a much lower percentage fee than ETFs and appears to give the security of real, physical gold behind it, whereas with ETF's it is hard to tell what is actually held to cover your investment.
