I've been purchasing and accumulating PMgold since 2015 as I know it is WA government guaranteed and physically redeemable.

If you live in Australia, it is better to purchase PMgold and it is easier and less distance to travel to redeem PMgold into physical gold.

I did check with the Perth Mint twice previously and they have reassured my holdings can be redeemed anytime I want, fully backed by gold stored at the Perth Mint but you need to give them notice for large quantity.

Say, if you want to redeem one ounce of physical gold, you will need to convert more than 10 unis of PMgold as physical gold bars always cost more and 10 PMgold shares on any day.

Besides, Perth Mint is one the best mint in the world and I believe their gold can be easily traded anywhere in the world as it shows the Perth Mint mark.

On the other hand, it is always good to own physical gold as well.
