pmi gold rushed last night!!

Awesome night for holders everyone.

After an early period of consolidation on light volume, she soared under massive buying pressure from mainly brokers and instos!!

Action started about 4am our time til around 5.20am running up to a high of $1.18 then took a bit of a breather on vol of ~6m units.

All that against backdrop of a plunging Dow and sliding gold price.

Then lo and behold, it started to crank up again! Got as high as $1.27 +24c at around 5:45 am, at which point I had to go and punch out some zzzzzzz's.

Here's a summary and it'll be interesting to see whether it can hold these levels into the close and then replicate the onslaught on the ASX today which looks like it's gunna be a red one.
